Since 2017, The Rescue Life has achieved great results rescuing DOG’s from the Northern Parishes of Louisiana.
Our Mission
To save the lives of homeless pets that have been surrendered by their owners, those dumped in municipal shelters, and those that are being abused and neglected. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, and transporting them to sister shelters where they will be adopted.

What We've Achieved
2017-2018 transported 1244 dogs and cats to safety in partnership with our sister shelter Acadiana Animal Aid in Carencro, Louisiana.
Participated in three Thrive Rescue transports with Rescue Express sending 3 buses over 2 years saving 236 lives.
February 2019 Partnered with Wings of Rescue, Cloud 9 Rescue Flights and The Greater Good Organization flying 3 nursing moms and 19 puppies to safety
April 2019 Attended the Humane Society of the United States Expo in New Orleans learning the newest and best safe practices in animal sheltering and rescue
